Casual atmosphere, friendly service, amazing food served buffet style. My husband and I tried it all and everything was home made southern style and delicious! At least six different vegetables, several salads, meatloaf, fried chicken, fish, shrimp, and more! The hush puppies were amazing and the crab salad was outstanding! Even the Iced Tea was done to perfection! Very reasonably priced and we left stuffed!
My family and I finally made it to Judy Boones. We have read and heard about this place for years. The food is amazing. So many comfort foods, and classics. Wait staff was very friendly. And the atmosphere is just how you expect it. Like being at home. We went on hamburg steak night. Family of 6, with picky eaters. And they were going to town on the food.
Take it from a fella from NC, if you want some of THE BEST Country Cookin' in the Carolinas then you MUST try this place. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING is Absolutely delicious.
Judy Boone's is a great comfortable restaurant. The food is delicious. Marilyn, my waitress, was on top of her game. The ribs were moist, tender and tasty. In the future, I'll eat at Judy Boone's each time I pass by.
Been a family staple for years! Can’t go wrong with the buffet here. Nice salad bar. Creek shrimp and fried flounder are a favorite along with the pulled pork and meatloaf. Lots of yummy southern sides. This is where the locals eat and if you give it a try you’ll see why!
Most buffets are tasteless but not this one. Butter Beans over the rice was delicious. The ribs and BBQ were both very good. I was too full to try the chicken but maybe next time. The desserts looked good. I only tried the banana pudding and it was good... not as good as Mom's but still tasty. 5 Stars as this was an excellent value for the price.. especially in a resort town.

We arrived right as they opened, ensuring we had a great seating arrangement for our group of ten, and they accommodated us effortlessly. The wait staff impressed us with their delightful and efficient service. But the real star of the show was the food! With an incredible selection of home-cooked favorites like pork chops, fried chicken, baked chicken, meatloaf, ribs, shrimp, flounder, chicken bog, hash, and chicken and dumplings, there’s something for everyone. The giant salad bar and an astonishing dessert selection, including my all-time favorite, banana pudding, made our meal truly special. The variety of sides was fantastic—sweet collard greens, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, lima beans, and so much more. The rustic setting exudes a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s clean, comfortable, and has ample parking, making it effortless to plan your visit.
